Question about my refugium skimmer

does it have an airline tube with the pump.or does the pump have a little nipple sticking off it for a tube to go on?

yep. But I'm not sure I put it in right. I think that will do it knucklehead.

make sure that line is suckin in air not water. and that should make it produce bubbles

Well actually it shoots water out of it, so I just tossed it in the tank. I will get some photos tomorrow, so we can get this straightened out.

can you take a pic of that pump in your tank? did you make sure that airline hooked up to the pump is out of the water?

that's the problem, if I open it or leave it out of the water it leaks water onto my floor for some reason.

that tube needs to be out of the water where that knob is.. then it will produce bubbles

If I un-screw the white nozzel or take that black cap off then i'm going to have water on my floor.

leave the tube where the knob is at the top of the tank area dont let it go below water line see if that works

and you need to loosen the knob to let air in

If it is full of water you can put it to your mouth and blow it through.

Well I took the black cap off and I loosened the white cap, it is out of the water and above the water line. It still doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Is the tube still full of water?

I blew through it and it just fills back up with water.
