Quick question

Good morning everyone

My tank has been successfully up and running now for 16 weeks and my 2 clown fish and 2 blue damsels are growing quickly :-)

My question is I need to add some more sand to the tank of I buy a bag from my local retailer can I literally just add straight in I don't need much

Rinse it and then rinse it again.....the tank will still look like a snow globe for a day but it will be ok.

Agreed. Rinse, rinse, rinse and add it slowly. If the tank becomes completely cloudy wait a day and rinse all filter pads.

And to add to what they said, don't waste your money on getting a bag of live sand, the dry sand will become live.

You can use a length of PVC, pour the sand down the PVC to the bottom of the tank to reduce cloudiness.
