Reefing newb
So I found a red worm today moving across the sand to a burried rock, I tried to take a picture but he escaped before I could get my camera, It is probably about the length of a finger nail, as thick as a coat hanger, maybe a little less. Red body with tranlucent legs. What is this??/ Please let me know if this is good or bad.

I would say there are tons of them in your tank. They are great cleaners as lilduud said. SOme people are sensitive to their sting, so if you feel squeemish, you can wear gloves while working in your tank.

Thanks everyone.
Yeah I read that they bite or sting. Pretty nice information. I think they are a little to small right now to worry.

:pissedof:Bristleworms are the spawn of Satan!:evil!?!?:

Seriously, they are useful members of your CUC, but don't grab them if you're allergic to bee stings.
