Reefing newb
I have a 125 gallon with 225 pounds of live rock and a 40 breeder for the sump. That was too much rock for the DT, just looked like a big wall. I took out as much rock as I could get in the sump. I have a table over the sump that I want to put a Refugium on. I want to use a 10 gallon tank. My question is, I want to t off the sump pump to fill the refugium. The only way I can think of getting the water back to the sump is to drill a hole in the Refugium put in a bulkhead and run a hose back to the sump. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Also how would I partion the Refugium.

The plan you have for running the water back to the sump is the easiest way as well as the way I'd do it. And, if the 10g is going to be your refugium then, there's no reason to partition it.

my last setup I ran that way, piped it from the refugium to the sump worked fantastic only thing I did different is i tapped into the overflow for the water to the fuge..
