RO question

So I won an RO filter, but it's just that a RO filter. I'm not sure if it's even worth hooking up because it lacks the DI which I thought was fairly important in producing useful water for our aquariums. Should I sell it? Can I attach a DI part?

I am currently living in Fort Collins which I don't think has very good water, it sure taste awful....

Any advice?

I would shoot them an email. Just browsing the site, it looks like you would need to buy the canister, a refillable cartridge, a bracket, and the media. Possibly the fittings also. They would be able to answer your questions exactly.

It would not be that expensive to add a DI stage if you already have an RO kit.

Depending on the brand, you would just need:
1 DI canister (You can even go dual DI to address resin "fade out")
2-3 feet of RO tubing that matches your canister fittings. (The RO kit should have some extra tubes).
DI resin.

An inline TDS meter would be good to have, but not absolutely necessary.
