Can't really tell what kind of filters those are from the photo. What kind of filters are they?

ok. It's a 3M CFS8112-S filter suppose to be used on a 3M CFS8576-S system. If this helps any1 out. Thanks Matthew

No I think you need a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter that will tell you if you have any of the bad stuff in there (heavy metals) not 100% sure about my information so please don't take it to the bank. We have a Giant RODI unit here at work so I get mine for free :mrgreen: last time filters were changed the meter reading was Zero.

Gotcha.. I was hoping to do the same thing with my work. That system is hooked up to the ice machine they put all the seafood on. Hoping to save a lil money to save for a bigger tank. Thanks Matthew
