These animals are filter feeders and as such will need a mature system to survive or be fed an appropriate food sufficient to sustain them, hence, water quality. I would recommend one of the more traditional animals for shifting the substrait, conchs, cucumbers, and such. also if your substrait is not fine enough you will not have success with any of the substrait cleaners. sorry but I cannot support your direction with the information provided. good luck. feel free to pm me if you have any questions on my post.

:bdaybiggrwe would catch those at the beach when I ws a kid we called them sand flees. I saw andrew zimmer eating them on his show I say buy them and fry them.
