shunk shrimp in my powerhead

So I come home from work and turn off all of the power heads to feed and I start to freak out a little when I see what looks like my shrimp stuck to the power head. So I stuck my hand down near the "shrimp hole" and both popped onto my hand. Definitely a sigh of relief when I realized my shrimp molted for the first time in my tank!

Yep! It's pretty amazing how true to life the molts look. When my cleaner shrimp used to molt, I'd have a hard time telling it apart from the animal.

I wish I was that lucky.I came home and saw the same thing except... one of my fire shrimp lost the battle with a koralia 3. I kinda wish it was one of the peppermint shrimps instead.

my coral bandeds molt looks SO real, it is amazing! All those red bands, and the blue spot are all very brite! ( for being a molt ) mother nature can be so strange and beautiful, eh?
