Skimmer question

Well, I think I'm going to go ahead and buy a skimmer with my bonus instead of some more coral. Or saving for some LEDs. I've thinking about these two here and was wondering if any1 had one or heard anything good for another reefer? Or maybe another model RO. Thanks for your advice.

I have the 8" pinwheel and I really like it. Does a great job and in the 9 months I've had it I've had no problems with it.

I have the diablo. It does a great job. The sicce pump is louder than I thought it would be, but reviews online say it takes a few months to really quiet down and operate silently. It does have a pretty big footprint, so make sure you can fit it in your sump if you go with this one! (though that may be true for all of the reef octopuses)

Fishy how big is the footprint? I haven't builder my sump yet. but I'm going with a 20g long. Thanks for the reply also.

Yes it's on the 180 and pulls quite a lot of gunk out. I probably should have went with something rated for more gallons but I'm very happy with the job it does.
