...but I have a black pearl looking thing in my tank, little shiny black ball looking thing, moved my multi coraled rock closer to the lights this morning before my 12 hour shift and this thing is just chilling... My Lfs had some in there tanks, but I hadn't bought anything
From that tank... what is it..?

Don't go trying to pick it up with your fingers. The bubble will burst, releasing spores into your tank. Trying siphoning the bubble out.

Any reason why I would be getting bubble algae in a tank that's been up for little over a week...? Doing something wrong or normal? Just seems awfully fast to have bubble algae

most likely came in on a piece of live rock. Not that big a deal if you are proactive and get rid of it as you find it.
