Something pissing off my Zoa

Hey guys,

I just noticed this coming up out of one of my Zoas today, all around it the heads were closing, It was much bigger but i moved the rock so I could get a clearer picture, in the bottom right you can see some big "tentacles" Im pretty sure the thing in the middle of the heads (middle left) had tenticles of similar size before moving... (possibly not though haha)

Can anyone Id both of these things, the one to the left looks like it has a mouth... and the tentacles to the right have a mind of there own, they aren't just swaying with the current they are moving.

Aiptasia.

Kill it with fire.

And by fire I mean Aiptasia X.

Ok I think A shop a couple of hours away might stock that.. But I wont be able to get there till Friday. Does it spread very fast?

Oh and are both the things in the picture the same stuff?

Yep, you definitely have the pest anemone aiptasia...they do spread, but not as fast as Friday, so you should be ok til then. And yes, they're the same thing looks like.

They are both aiptasia. Pest anemones -- they will sting your corals.

pepermint shrimp also work at killing aiptasia
