Something strange going on here...

I was doing a nightly check of my aquarium using my flashlight, when i noticed a peppermint shrimp tearing off one of my cluster duster worms. WHAT IN THE HELL is going on with that? I wonder why they are doing bad, I got a shrimp that is eating them or something. Anyone know why, or what I should do? I am really puzzled!

Yep it is a pepper, I can try and get a pic of it, but I have onl1 camel in my tank and that was definitely not it.

Any shrimp can turn predator when they decide to.
I'm betting the duster was either just an easy meal for a hungry shrimp,or the duster was dead or dying and the shrimp finished it off.

Thanks, everyone, I will be sure to feed my shrimp more aggressively to hopefully prevent this from happening, anyone have a suggestion on how i can sink some food down to the bottom for my scavengers?

I've read about them possibly eating small duster worms before. You can put food inside a jar and sink it to the bottom.I skewer a couple of silverside on the end of a Kent sea squirt for all the scavengers to enjoy.
