spikes on rocks

i have growing spikes on my rock they are very hard rep/purple from 1/8 to a 1/4 inch in lenght
what can be?? are all over my rocks from the last six month and keep growing very fast
are any good ???

Looks like vermetid snails. They're harmless unless the nets they use to feed irritate corals. In which case a dab of super glue over them will work.

i will need a gallon a super glue i have those all over the rock's...
but if are harmless it's ok to let them grow...

For me the annoying thing about them is that they occasionally stab me when I quickly grab a big rock that is tipping or falling over. They freaking hurt.
