stay with halid or t5

i have a metal halid 150 watt phoinex bulb blue , running in a current light fixture with a 250 ballast. tHIS LIGHT is sweet , id like to go with something more blue if possible, Now which would say i want alot of coral cuzz i have over 40lbs of rock that need to be covered , switch to t5 setup and f the halid or just add in a t5 single to run night time ? please be real , cause this light is going up for sale if so....:sfish:

if you want more blue you can buy a 20k bulb. that is a very blue bulb, and is thje color i like to use

Yep, instead of changing your whole light fixture, I would use a different color bulb.

I have the Phoenix 150 watts 14K double ended bulb and its sometimes too much light over my BC29

+1 just switch to a 20K bulb, it is much bluer.
