Strange worm?

Just curious what this little guy is? I see Coepods popping out under my zoa garden often, and saw this guy crawling around. Any guesses?

bristle worm. a tiny one. They are good part of your CUC.

Hey when should you be concerned about bristle worms? I mean I have one live rock wit five sticking out trying to catch flakes

I wouldn't be concerned unless they get to be 12" or longer. :)

I have just seen one about six inches and it was thick so I took the entire rock out and put it in a bucket of tank water tell me how long would it take to starve the worms out or even if it's possible

I probably already know the answer to this but how do people find these different species in their tanks without knowing that they're there. Did they hitchhike from your LR? I would love to find a nice bristle worm in mine but my LR came with nothing but empty clam shells...hahaha.

Yep. The hitchhike in on rock, coral plugs, etc.

Why do you want to kill them? They are a good member of the cuc...they will prlly just find food to est off the live rock for a while.
