super glue question...

is there a big tube of superglue gel i can buy somewhere?
also....can superglue that contains cyanoacrylate cause cyanobacteria?
i saw on mr saltwater tank tv that i should only use super glue with cyanoacrylate.

If you want a BIG tube that's much cheaper than the equivalent amount of tiny tubes of crazy glue, get a bottle of CG.

Superglue won't cause red slime algae. Cyano means blue in color.

I really really really like Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control.. and it comes in a dark blue .34 oz bottle that is kick ass. I keep one extra in reserves at all times. Any larger bottle would ruin.. IMO.

I even glued together an anex on the side of my sump for my skimmer with it. It is 3/16" acrylic with port holes punched into the wall of my sump now to feed it. Is doing fine... it better, if it breaks I flood. and my wife kicks my butt.
( you had better have good fitting joints if you try that)

Dennis isn't that stuff like 20 bucks a bottle? That's 40 tubes of super glue gel here, unless the bottle is way bigger than it looks
