Switching Salt Mixes

Since all the mixes have different chemistry, I'm wondering if the change could adversely affect livestock. Anyone had problems switching salt mixes?

I've never heard that switching salt mixes can harm livestock, probably because you aren't doing a 100% water change in most cases. If you stick to the normal small water changes (10 to 20%), any changes in water chemistry are going to be gradual and subtle, which is what you are going for.

I switch all the time. Depends on what's on sale and good.

Yep you won't see any issues. I also switch often.
