I'm looking to replace my blue actinic bulbs and am seeing 420nm and 460nm. First off, what is "nm"? And what's the difference between the 420nm and the 460nm?:frustrat:
nm=nanometers, the number is representative of what part of the color spectrum each light's output falls within. I would stick with the 420 bulbs for actinics as my research revealed that the "true" actinic range is from 420nm and lower so technically 460nm is a true actinic but rather just similar in color.
+1 James. I ordered all new T5's from reefgeek a few weeks ago. They some of them were on backorder, but they got shipped on Monday. They'll be here tomorrow! :bounce: Call and speak with Greg. Tell him what you want and he'll set you up with the best bulbs possible.
