I am not sure if these are tube worms are hurting my coral. Recently one of my mushroom coral has shriveled up allot and I noticed that there was a few of these tube worm looking things by it. I noticed these tube worms shoot out long sticky threads. I don't know if its to collect food or if it chemical warfare.See the attached photos, what do you think? Are they even tube worms?

those just look like the tubes of feather dusters, they are a filter feeder, and most people have them hitch hike on their live rock... nothing to worry about

Those are verminted snails.
They are basically safe, except their threads can irritate some corals, causing them to stay closed.
Just take some super glue gel and put a drop on the opening of the tubes. That way the snail cant release its thread.

That puts my mind at ease. Thank you!
