Reefing newb
hey everyone its been a loooong time since ive been on the forum. ive been moving and finishing school... anyway within the last few days ive noticed a couple hundred of these little white invert-looking things. they mainly stay on the glass in the same spot and dont move a whole lot. they are about 2 mm long and have two antenna. at first i thought it was an amphipod but i have no clue. also theres some sort of predator hiding in the rockwork that likes to eat shrimp, if theres any correlation :)..... thanks for any help in advance! its good to be back on here!

no theyre smaller than amphipods and dont move nearly as much. plus they are more flattened out rather than having the characteristic butt of an amphipod

Hey liduud, welcome back. I'm back from my lr hiatus as well. Following this thread as I'm curious too. They look like little cigarette butts.
