Water Test Readings

i also have a wet dry filter system with the bio balls i was told 3 different things with that 1.clean about 15 every week. 2.take half of them out and replace with some live rock. 3. take it all out the live rock in your tank is all you need

Go with #3. Make a nice little fuge in that section instead. The reason bioballs you should get rid of your bioballs is they need to be cleaned very regulatory, and every 15 weeks is not regularly. If a different section of them isnt cleaned with your weekly water change they can become a nitrate factory, causing all sorts of water quality issues.

its a place to let macro algae such a cheato grow, removing nitrates and phosphates from your water and giving pods a place to grow. Basically a less intense version of a scrubber.

i like the scrubber i might do that right where the bio balls are water would hit the screen then go down into the sump i think that could work
