I have 2 DE halides, one of my cheapo ballasts burned up today. :grumble:
What should I get to replace the 2 of them?

When I asked Sanjay about electronic ballasts, he told me there is very little difference in performance between them. IceCap, ARO, Vertex are popular brands and easy to find.

I have ARO and icecap and both have ran for years without problems(knock on wood)

I went ahead and ordered this from reefgeek. Basically I got it for just a little more than the price of a single ice cap ballast, and the reviews seem pretty good for it. I like the idea of a dual unit since I have a dual bulb fixture! I'll post a FTS when I get it hooked up and see if its any brighter than the old cheapo ballast.
