It's a type of macro algae. I had some growing, but it died off.

Algae and algae. The second is bubble algae, specifically. Remove it by hand, being careful not to break the bubbles in your tank.

That first algae, I get all the time. It will grow to a good size and then it just dies.

for the bubble algae if you don't want to remove carefully by hand you can put in an emerald crab or two.

Why not just deny the bubble algae its nutrients? Make sure there is Macro Algae in the sump...Keep the phosphates and nitrates to a minimum. If you take away what is making it grow...It will stop growing.

Bubble algae will grow with 0 nitrates and 0 phosphates. It depends more on lighting.
