What is this?

Hi all,

I am not sure what this is I believe it is possible some sort of Mushroom. It came on a piece of live rock and has doubled in size and has never moved. I have had it for 6mths. Would love to know what it actually is as I have not seen one like it when searching through pics, etc. I love it as the surface looks a little like 0 and X! click on pic for larger view and see what I mean. :D
