what type of coral

Can someone tell me what these are and if my placement is ok? Should they be on the bottom or no? Sometimes they shift around throughout the day or climb on top of one another. Thanks in advance

Those are mushrooms. Placement is fine. They like low to moderate flow and light. Some will take food if target fed, but most won't.

Thank you Sarah..As they get larger will they crowd one another or is that not even an issue?

They will grow where they want to grow, but they won't crowd each other in a sense that they will hurt each other. They spread by extending a "foot" across the rock and budding off from each other. You may see little ones popping up on the rocks in a matter of months. There is nothing you need to worry about in terms of them crowding each other.

These look just like the ones I ran an ID check on, this is good to know. :D
