It's obviously some type of filter feeder cuz it's in the ghetto part of my tank (you know, the part with no lights cuz I still only have a 2 1/2' fixture on top of my 6' long tank LOL). It's pretty looking though....I haven't even wanted to poke it cuz if it is a good critter, I don't want to damage it.

I'd bet money on sponge. They look pokey. I wouldn't go sticking my digits on it. :)

I've seen them come and go in my tank... Always on the backside of rocks 'n stuff.
