White tentacle from inside rock

Goes in and out the rock and waves around, has the same appearance as the bristles on a bristleworm. On the left side about half way down.

Looks like spaghetti worms. They're harmless.

No, it is about 2 Inches long when it extends out and then retracts itself back into the rock. Thank you for posting..

ahhh, ok, um, what is it then? its living in a tube on a rock, and i've not seen it let out this string, but i've watched it pull it in little by little, looks like its eating the string, and apparently the string is sticky, cause stuff outta the water will stick to it, like if i stirr up some sand, then little white bits stick to the string, and get sucked in...
