Yellow Eye Kole Tang Tank Size?

I was thinking about getting a kole tang for my 55 gallon. Most sites I read online say 50 gallon is the minimum size and a couple say 70 gallon. Any input is appreciated.

I think a kole tank will be ok in a 55 gal tank...they are one of the smaller species tangs.

I would say "no" because they are one of the tangs with a particularly nasty attitude issues and that only becomes worse in a smaller tank.

I think a Kole in a 55 is a bad idea, mine was a pain until I added an Achilles and it showed him who was top fish. In a smaller tank like a 55, I think you'd have issues with the other fish in the tank

I am considering getting a Mealanrus Wrasse, but I'm wondering if they need a fine sand bed to sleep in at night. If so, how thick must it be? Sorry to anyone else for going off topic on this thread, but I have to find this out.
