I have had one of each in my 60 gal for over 5 months with no problems. The fire shrimp hung out on the back for a long while, like 3 + months, but is now staying in the front much more. They will both take food from my hands, and are very nice and colorful in the tank.

Yeah, I just don't know why Dennis keeps on trying to take some good pictures of his poor little tank. Some people just don't know when to throw in the towel, picture wise and tank wise! :D

I really enjoy ours. He come out and stares at me with those blue eyes every time I am near the tank. Certainly one of the more people social fish in our tank.

I just picked up a pair, and didn't think about looking if they have different sizes, but the one I got has "Large" printed on it. I may go back and see if they have any smaller sizes, but it does not say anything on the website about various sizes. Luckily they are only a couple of miles away!

Try a drill with a bit the size of the stem to drill it out. That was going to be my next option if I couldn't pull it out with some pliers.

Exactly what I was going to say. I got a free K2 from a local guy because it was broken, and luckily the magnet side of the mount was still long enough to push the pump back onto it once I removed the broken stem. It does not have 100% of the movement, but hey, at least it works.
