Here are a couple of very poor shots of my milli frag...Lights just came on and he's got his hairs extended, and the green color is almost all the way back....so all in all, I'm happy with the move. Now I've just gotta get the aquascaping to my liking....May try to find some more rock today.

Here is the latest update on the tank. I decided to completely re-do the aquascaping. I really struggle with making it look good. I built some PVC structures and zip-tied the rock to it. I'm going to need to get some new rock in the next couple of days to fill out the middle area of the tank.

I don't understand what you guys mean?...Do you mean the big white rock that is just laying on the ground?...Those are the scrap pieces until I get some more rock...or are you talking about something else..?

Here's what I woke up to this morning. My shrimp...wide out in the open in the middle of a molt... Sorry about the poor quality, but this was with only blue lights on. If I would've turned on the lights he would've took off.

Here is a mod that I just did on my algae scrubber...I didn't mention in the video, that I need to top off my water, so when the water is coming off the screen it's dropping about 3 inches...Once I top off, this thing will nearly be silent.

So you do top off your water so the bottom of the screen is about 1/2 an inch or so in the water right?

Yeah, you want the screen barely touching the water so it eliminates any splashing noise...The durso pipe has eliminated the flushing noise that I was dealing with..

I've had the scrubber set up for 2 weeks. I've cleaned it once...Tomorrow is second cleaning.

What are your dimensions for your screen...i never did any calculating,just cut it to fit and put it in...Will that have any affect on it??

If you go to the DIY for the algae scrubber you'll see how to calculate it...You just want to make sure that you have enough water running over it...You've got the lights where they need to be....So, if after the first 1 or 2 weeks you only see brown growth, turn UP the water flow.

From the dimensions of what I know your screen to be, and the overflow you're getting..One one pipe you'll be perfect with 2 lights for your tank.
