Ya I really miss the summer there, floating the chena is a blast. We had a couple feet of snow last week but it has all melted. How has the winter been up north?
Well I went ahead and got one last night. He was pretty shy at first but now he seems to be enjoying himseslf, although he doesnt like my hawkfish very much. He moved right in and kicked the hawk off his rock that he had been perched on since he was put in the tank. hopefully they will start to...
I have heard increasing your magnesium will help with hair algea. Can anyone else go into more detail with the levels it needs to be at and what will help to get rid of hair.
Do they starve if there is not enough hair algea to eat or will they eat normal food too? My hair algea is starting to die off after a long battle so I would hate to buy one if that is all they eat. You can rent one for 15 or buy one for 20. Not sure what I should do.
I was at the LFS and noticed a lawnmower blenny. Does anyone have one or no much about them? I was interested in renting one from the LFS for hair algea control will they hurt other fish?
How llong do you reccomend curing for? It is suppposed to be cured allready but there was a bit of die off from shipment. right now it is in a tote of 10 gal salt water with heater and PH any other reccomendations?

I have 1" also. It is stuck in the sump about 8 inches too, just wanted a more secure way of attatching it. I think i am going to use some super glue and if that dont work I will drain it and use silicone.
I built my own sump a while back, but I am unhappy with how my hose goes into the sump. It is just sitting in there. I am scared that it might come out one day. What is a better way to connect the hose to the sump. It is a 20g tank. Thanks
