Man, am I glad someone else found one of these. Just saw one climbing around my tank the other day...mine doesn't come out in the night, only during the day.

Update: Well, went and paid very close attention to the tank today. I have had a new colony of white specks appear all over the glass on the tank. They are VERY tiny, and some are like a lil white speck with arms on them. Any clue on what these could be?

Just ordered my RO/DI unit this evening from purewaterclub.com. Will be nice not to have to go to the LFS every week, and buy water.

I've had my lifereef for about a month now, it's paired up with a Magnum 5 pump. That overflow will handle i believe 750GPH. Plus Jeff over there is Great! He's helped me with all my question's I've had with their overflows. I also think they are all hand-made.

They are reef-safe with caution. If you keep them fed then it should be ok. My buddy has one in his 55G that's about 5" long and has no problems with his. I love the Hawkfish, I had an Arc-eye a few years back, he was cool but VERY territorial. This guy seems less aggressive than that one.

Should work, according to website, it's 3.5" deep. and mine sits exactly right on the inlets. Of course you should be able to reduce the noise/break-in period by running vinegar through it. I ran mine in just my tank for a few weeks before I even got any animals.
