i got a pink stylophora and a orange plate a couple weeks ago and they seems to be doing ok.do they adapt rather quick or do they take a while?

two part solution would be kalkwrasser? would turbo calcium be ok?if not can you point me in the right direction for mking and dosing kalk?

i just bought new lights"2-250 halides & 2-48" vho" and i want to get into SPS. are they really that difficult to keep? i dont have a calcium reactor and i have never used kalkwrasser before.my tank is a 135 with about 1200 gph total turnover.is that enough for sps? any input will be appreciated....

i wont be able to move till this time next year....maybe i should just set my tank up elsewere till then.... i didnt have this prob till i got halides.

thanks....yes this house is very old.i think it was built in the 70's.the breakers actually make noises when my halides turn on.i think im gonna get higher amp breakers. thanks fatman

trade drilled 135 gallon for 100 gallon drilled or not? 135 has 1-2'' overflow,2-1'' returns. just want something shorter is all. no it dosent leak,its a oceanic and is currently set up.will meet half way if you live in washington???

is it a good idea to mix up some kent turbo calcium and use in some kind of drip system?or can a guy even do something like that??

ive tried everything...i even put it in a acrylic box and filled it with sand.....i think something is wrong with it,i know for what they cost new there is no way it can be that loud...

ya know i have done evrything i could think of. when you first plug it in it works sweet, massive bubblesand a lot of skimmate for only around an hour.then the bubbles start to dissapear then eventually nothing.its brand spankin new w/mag 7.i have read the instruction 100 times and nothing...

yea i did loose some gph from pump return,i went to RC and used the head loss calculator and with the plumbing i have and with a mag 9 im at 565.i have a mag 24 but it is insanly loud.it almost sounds like a dishwasher.so i dont use it.thanks again to everybody helping me>
