I was reading on other sites and they said Cerinth Snails are good for controlling them and they also eat other things so its not like when the diatom explosion ends so will they

well my favorite way is a sand sifting goby just because they are really cool to watch and they keep the sand sturred so that algae doesnt get the chance to grow... anything from hermit crabs to nar. snails will keep the sand clean but gobies are my personal fav because they are fun to watch

ok is there any way to get rid of them by introducing some kind of invert that eats them or something

they arent shelly though they are almost a dust and partially... i cap off the tank with tap but WCs are done with RO

I leave them open for awhile i just close them at night... also the sump has a high water exchange surface area... the microbubbles are coming from the thing that puts the water back in the tank after it has run through the sump
