Sundial snails seem to have a normal, albeit, perpendicular shell.. This is a longer type snail with more rigid edges and designs on it.

Yes, but as the waste builds up in the filer, and leaches back in the tank, it should be filtered by the biological filter anyways, so I don't understand how it would be any worse. Seems like a myth to me.

I'm confused. Why is no power filter better than a filter?

Alright popped the screws which let me dismantle one. So they 'do' just pull out. But they are cheap cheap, and really jammed on there tight, it seems. :D

Just got a 24" Odyssea fixture in the mail, and I wanted to change some wires (Want to have the ends on 1 plug, then the middle 2 on another).. However, as stupid as it may sound, I'm unsure of how to pull the bulbs out of their sockets. They definitely don't look like they turn 90deg... And...

Yeah a pic would be great. I'm just wondering if that extra oomph is wasted because it's hanging over the sides of the tank? Stupid 30"... But barring that, if I WERE to go with only a 4x24 T5ho, could an anemone thrive in it? I mean, the tank isn't that deep, but, who knows!
