As most of you know i'm new into saltwater which i'm (slowly) making progress, but I got my friend into This hobby also... he didn't have money for a sump and I talked to him today and he told me that he too has a 29 gallon tank like mine but he has a marineland bio wheel filter and a Red Sea...
a little over a month ago for my clean up crew I purchased some margarita snails, cerith snails, mexican red leg hermit crabs ect.....
so today when i was cleaning my tank i noticed atleast half of my snails were dead...so i asked my LFS what they though and they told me that hermit crabs kill...
well my tank has been up for maybe 9 weeks now and i had a little bit of diatom algae which is slowly going away but for some reason the right side of my tank was completely covered in Slime Algae....
I figure since I only have one Koralia on the right side blowing towards the left that...
I just posted this in a different forum also, but what size Koralia should I get for a 29 gallon tank?? some guy told me to get two Koralia 2's so I bought one 3 and it was WAY to powerful and blew my fish around and everything....
I have a 29 Gallon tank and got the koralia 3 today cause somebody said I needed 2 Koralia 2s so I figured one 3 would work.... but I put it in and it blew the whole tank around and was way to powerful.... what size should I really get for a 29 gallon??
I bought this Condy Anemone just 3 days ago, but everybody has said that they shouldnt be put in until the tank is well established...so I think i'll be taking him back. I might be moving to fast and should be to patient haha, I'm still learning

I just bought a 30 inch. Orbit Light with Lunar lights from a guy on the internet so it didn't come with instructions, and i'm new to this hobby. My question is do I leave the Lunar light on all night long or should it be completely dark at night??
