I have the lights currently on my tank and the stopped working yet when i initially plug them in they will stay on for a few second then shut off. is it just the bulbs going bad or something else/?

Alright my hitchhikers are starting to show their faces. I do not know what this green thing is it look a bit like a snail but it has legs

All the reviews on the seller were good and everyone seemed happy with the products it seemed like it might be a good idea. But my rule of thumb is before I make any changes or add anything to my tank I log on to LR and ask first

I thought that was a lot of snails but It said they recommend 2 pr gallon maybe bc they are selling them:D

Ok so I think I got all of it out and I believe I have every piece of rock in the perfect position (for now) I can't tell bc the tank is murky I just want to say thanks again for the suggestions

I would say that would not be a very good idea. you not only are not going to have any of the beneficial bacteria It is altogether a completely different substance. I am sure somebody more knowledgeable than me will chime in shortly.but if it were me no way

Thanks they have a tank full of it 8 bucks a lb which I think is about average
