I don't mind doing it with new rock that I get from this point forwards but I thought adding multiple pieces of new rock to the tank would cause water issues if done in large amounts? for example if i build the structure I want outside of the tank and then just cram it all in once done.

Is that something that's achievable whilst I have a tank with rock and fish already in it? IE is it safe for me to remove the rock to drill the holes and slowly build it back in whilst my fish swim around? Thanks

I put some brine shrimp, krill in the tank and they just rejected it. Maybe they've been on flakes to long as I've taken this tank off of a previous owner. I had to scoop it out because it wasn't getting eaten, any ideas? They parts were quite big should I get some more finely chopped stuff?
