When I had my sump I used a pump with a hose attached to the outlet to suck and blow the stuff out into a bucket during a water change.

Kizmar if it changes location you could have cyno which is normal in new tanks or tanks with low flow. Cyno is kinda gooy and can be blown off of rocks by a swift wave of you hand. Turf wont be removed unless you scrape it off, and it comes right back. One of the hardest to get rid of in my opinion.

I never found a way to keep it out, but filter socks will help a ton.

It is turf. Very hard to remove from the tank. Could bother coral, but if you plan on FOWLR and you ike it then I promise it wont be hard to keep. lo Wont bother fish and some will eat it.

Your lights are fine. What salt do you use? I noticed when I switched from IO to RC it really took off, then it was a battle to keep the front glass clean.

If you plan on no coral, then all you really need is salt, hydrometer, test kit, a powerhead or two, heater, sand, and rock. If you plan on coral then you'll need a good lighting system. On a tank that small there is no need for a skimmer if you keep up with water changes, and if it's fish only...

I had the mp10 on a 20 gal long and it was great, however, I don't think it would be that great on a 55 let alone a 90. I'd wait for some more feedback before you decide, but I really don't think it would cut it.

I don't think it's a bristle worm. They have hair like spikes on them. The one in you pis has much thicker rounder softer spikes. Man before I got out I new a few good sites for iding critters, but can,t remember them now.
