I always thought it was recomended to go 2x the size of your tank. Thats why I was going with the larger skimmers. I don't really care what they cost. I just want the best skimmer for my tank.

they are just standard 1'' bulkheads. Do you think I'll need a smaller pump? Like something around 2200gph. I have about a 5' rise

How good are the buble magus compaired to the other two? Is that what most people are running these days?

I have a 220gallon acrylic tank and plan to make it a reef tank. I have 175w MH on the ends and a 250w MH for the middle. I also have 2 VHO actinic bulbs. What other lighting should I get? Should I replace the VHO with T5's or LED's?
