    Culturing Phytoplankton and Tigger Pods

If your lfs has an account with ora, they can order you a tank bred mandarin. I think they cost a little more, but are very hardy, & will eat frozen, as well as other foods.

    Renewed Saltwater Tank Hobby

A vortech powerhead is two pieces the propeller side goes inside the tank, & the motor side goes on the outside. They connect by magnet. I think they would only work on a flat surface. Your tank being a cylinder, with no flat surfaces other than the top & bottom, I don't think a vortech would...

    Renewed Saltwater Tank Hobby

Hello, & welcome, that sounds like a cool tank. I think your light's would be enough for the dimensions of your tank. I would put the metal halide right in the center of the canopy. If i'm wrong someone else will likely chime in. For the powerheads I would say if you got the loot get the...

    Cleaning dry rock

Depends what type of dryrock it is. If it's the quarried type from florida there's nothing dead on it to cause a cycle. If it came from the ocean, & was then dried, like fiji or pukani rock for example it could cause a cycle.

    Pump question

I would just get two mag drive's they seem to be the most reiliable and powerful sumersible pump imo. I'm not sure why you want two sumps rather than running one with both the pumps, but two pumps isn't a bad idea considering one will keep running if the other ever happened to quit.
