im running 36 CREE LED (2 royal blue : 1 cool white) for almost a year now. i would be shocked if it was to much light. the blasto has been under that light since day one....so strange. i checked it this morning and it has melted even more.

Hey - wanted throw up a picture of a zoa i have and how its spreading. The plug was placed on a rock a little over 7 months ago and its interesting how it has moved almost completely off the frag to the rock...is that normal for them?

Oh man yea looks like this one is gonzo...the mouth area on the star is pushed out bubble look, real funky looking. Water parameters are inline but then again thrown off by some of the green hair algea i have. I was dealing with bryopsis not to lomg ago but that seems to be all gone, i hope...

I just got a star over the weekend and placed it against the glass and sand. I haven't seen it moved since. How do you tell if its dead or alive? No movement in the feets when i pick it up and the center where the mouth is bubbled up.....what happened?

has anyone plugged a Koralia Evolution powerhead into a variable dimmer switch? maybe something similar to this Credenza 300 Watt Lamp Dimme - White-TT-300H-WH at The Home Depot I dropped an email today to the company if this is possible and would it do any damage to the powerhead...waiting...

Yeah there's grains of sand floating around. I have the Caribsea Arag Alive Fiji Pink and Hydor Koralia Evolution 1400. Don't get me wrong I think it's an ultra cool fish to watch and have since it's a functional little guy. I'm just worried about the amount of sand floating around and settling...

It looks really nice with great coloration and does a great job in sifting but sand is floating every where. Is that normal and will it settle or im just over worried about the getting stired up onto the rocks, corals, and filter
