This is one of the last hitch hikers to ID on the live rock. It is ~3/8" dia. Would like to know what it is if for no other reason than to sound like I at least have interest .. and fain knowledge.

It was too quick to get a pic. It looks like a blue thread such off the bottom of blue jean cutoffs ... except it moves on its own and may stays on the bottom. I will work on getting a pic.

These are next on the list of unknowns. The length is ~3/8". They came out on the live rock several days after introduction a few months ago. Can't tell if there are more now than 3 months ago.

I know hydras are known to fresh water. A few of these critters came in on live rock 4 months ago for my saltwater tank. the base of this guy is ~3/8" long Are they good or bad? These appear pretty benign but not sure what to expect. Are there any predators? Are they reef safe?

The system is all pretty & new per the signature. Chemistry is near perfect. Lighting is a 4 tube 36" TO5 on the refugium & a 6 tube 48" on the main tank. Those lights are a lot of heat .. I had no idea the heat load would be so high. I decided on these for the future coral in the main + variety...

... and expanded from a fish only saltwater with the LFS doing water changes for us, to sump & 50 gal refugium with a ro/di filter and we are now doing the fun stuff. That's why I'm here! We have lots of questions.:Cheers:
