sorry its been awhile but its hard to be really into this hobby with a idle tank. well after losing all my fish to what i believe to be a parasite of some kind. i let my tank sit fish free for alittle over two months to let the parasite run its reproductive cycle and now i added my first fish. a flame angel that was in a friends tank for 1 1/2 yrs. this is just to see if my tank is ok because i know this fish is healthy. if it dies then i have no idea what to do next. the whole time my tank was sitting without fish i still had 3 corals an alot of snails and crabs so my water quality is fine or they would have died off right?

Yep.If water quality was the problem,your corals would have let you know.

thanks yote. if i decide to keep the flame angel will it bother other fish i add later since i added the flame first? i heard yes and no.

Mines never bothered another fish or nipped at a coral.But I've seen a few that have.

just make sure you dont add anyother dwarf angels because the flame will become territorial and it will most likely kill any other dwarf
