Acclimation for hermits and snails

Reefing newb
I keep reading about this on different sites and it seems there's nothing truely clear...
Some palces just say ''for invertebrates that are more sessile'' preferably use the drip method over a period of 2 hours.(ex:LiveAquaria)
But here:
ReefCleaners.org | Clean Up Crews and Macro Algae - Acclimation
It says they are intertidal animals and need to be taken out of the bag as fast as possible because of the high ammonia levels that can kill them.

In conclusion...
2 hours or 15 minutes?

What i do is empty the bag into a bucket, then get a very small line and just get a siphon going and leave it with no restrictions. It takes about 30 mins to fill.

Edit:
NINJA'D!!!! :fechten2:

Crabs, I acclimate for about 30 minutes. Snails, an hour.

A lot of times, there is no one "right answer" to questions in this hobby. :)

Cant go wrong following the recommendations of the people who sold them. This way if something happens you can verbally abuse them until they reimburse you or file a restraining order against you.

I got a few hermits and snails a couple of months ago and just put them in. One crab died and i think that might be why. Not sure though.
