algae id

goood evening everyone,

wondering is you could help identify this algae for me
its not furry for anything, and can be blown off of the rocks.

Im just going to run with the normal battle plan of a 30% wc and changing of the po4 media and possibly running a quality carbon for 2 weeks.

Looks like green cyano. Much more rare than the typical red slime algae, but it can come in green.

I guess thats expected after stirring up a bunch of nutrients when i moved the tank 2 weeks ago.

yeah they are, they are on 12 hours a day. but its definitely not diatoms. I was expecting them but got this instead, I dont think this is any better.:dunno:

thats why its called blue/green algae lol, blue and green is usually seen in freshwater more often because of much lower light levels and the particular strain (there are many)
