I would take a conspicuous over clarion any day. and the clarion is so expensive because of fishing laws around where they live. there are very strict limitations and very strict consequences if they are caught outside them.

That is one of my favorite fish.... I had an oportunity to get one for 1500. of few years ago. :( Being a zebrasoma you shouldn't need to worry about it being hardy. Unlike the angels that are that expensive..

They are so expensive because they only come from madagascar and they only allow collecting from that area a few times a year.
