Biocube 29 gallon lighting mods?

I'm about to get a 29 biocube. I was wondering if any of you guys know how to mod the lighting. I've seen some people put stuff from LEDs to full on MH kits. Does anyone have any lighting mods on there 29? If not, does anyone have just some input on this DIY project. Thank you.

I can't say, I've never done it myself. But if you're not really electronically inclined they do sell the kits pre-made.
