This stuff is amazing Cathic what is it?

It is a Ricordea Mushroom, or Ric, and its just one of the many different color variations they come in, some people dedicate small tanks to having a "garden" of these things as they come in so many different color schemes. Google for some more examples or look at coralmorphalogic.com for some nice color combos.

The Urchin is cool. Have you had any issues with it moving/killing corals?

Hes moved new frags, but doesnt do anything but eat coraline or green algae. I've never once seen him eating corals and dont expect too(Ive watched him crawl over my zoa colonies with no damage.). Gluing your frag plugs down keeps him from moving new ones.

Thanks, Im hoping to really revamp this old project of mine with a good facelift. Need to redo the rock work etc, but now that the mechanical and electrical bits are out of the way. Hopefully I can.

Edit: some may remember the small pic i posted for an ID, you will notice from the left to right side shot the same sponge.

Edit 2: Some may wonder why my Canes are the only close up I ever take, I'm not strongly attached to them , they just happen to be the best close up i can get of any of my corals.
