450nm light WILL grow coralline! Got 61 pounds of rock in this tank and all of it was free. Picked it up off the beach, cleaned it, cured and grew coralline on it with true blue light and Purple UP. Also, keep Cal and alk high, keep algae low.

450 nanometer light is the true blue part of the spectrum. Coralline will grow fast under this light. There are plenty of true blue bulbs out there but make sure it says "450 nm".

and all this rock was free!
